ABOUT YOUR THERAPIST

BLITHEN DAVIS, PT, MSPT

I help busy parents and their families live a healthy, active life all within the comfort and convenience of your own home. Being a mom to three boys myself I know how hard it is to find the time to prioritize yourself and your health. I also know that I am a better mom, wife, PT and friend when I do. Finding the time to do that is a challenge I know personally all too well. The beauty of concierge physical therapy is that you don't need to see your doctor first for a referral to physical therapy which will likely save you weeks of waiting to get that appointment and then scheduled for a PT evaluation.

My treatment philosophy as a physical therapist is that everyone is different and it's my job to figure out how to get you to your goals and keep you motivated along the way.  I like to spend the time educating my patients regarding their body and diagnosis so they understand the reasoning behind the exercises I'm asking them to do. I also like to show patients ways they can treat themselves and manage their symptoms and pain. The treatment plan for each patient I see is individualized to their life.  If you have kids and struggle to find 5 minutes for yourself each day just to shower I’m going to show you easy, simple ways to work in some stretches and exercise to your busy day. I encourage all my patients to be as active as possible but I know it needs to work into their life in a realistic and manageable way.

If you’re someone who goes to the gym everyday for an hour, then I’ll work with you to determine what modifications you might need to make to your workout to avoid injury or develop a program for you to improve in areas you might be missing.

More than anything, I truly enjoy helping people be active and healthy. Whether its recovering from an injury or getting back into shape or developing a more active and healthy lifestyle, I will help you meet your goals and get back to doing what you love.
